Sonalika Tractors has marked a significant chapter in its manufacturing journey with the rollout of its 20 lakhth tractor from its integrated tractor manufacturing facility in Hoshiarpur, Punjab. The milestone comes as the company completes 30 years of operations since producing its first tractor in 1996.
Over the years, Sonalika has expanded from producing two tractors a day to rolling out a new tractor every two minutes. The company now serves the Indian agricultural market as well as farmers across 150+ countries, strengthening its position as India’s No.1 tractor export brand.
The milestone also highlights Sonalika’s investments in robotics, automation and in-house manufacturing. Its Hoshiarpur facility is equipped to manufacture the components required for its tractors and follows rigorous testing and validation processes to ensure performance, durability and reliability.
The 20 lakhth tractor represents Sonalika’s continued commitment to farmer-centric innovation and its philosophy of ‘Jeetne Ka Dum’. With its vision of ‘Powering Dreams: From Hoshiarpur to the World’, the company continues to expand its global footprint while advancing Indian engineering and manufacturing capabilities.
