Sonalika Tractors has reached a major manufacturing milestone with the rollout of its 20 lakhth tractor from its integrated manufacturing facility in Hoshiarpur, Punjab. The achievement marks 30 years of Sonalika’s journey, which began in 1996 with the production of its first tractor and has evolved into a globally recognised tractor manufacturing and export brand.
Over three decades, Sonalika has significantly expanded its manufacturing capabilities, growing from producing two tractors a day during its early years to rolling out a new tractor every two minutes. The company now caters to farmers across India and more than 150 countries, strengthening Hoshiarpur’s identity as a global manufacturing hub.
Sonalika’s production ecosystem combines advanced robotics, automation and extensive in-house manufacturing capabilities. The company manufactures every major component of its tractors within its facility and follows rigorous testing and validation processes focused on performance, durability and reliability.
